Dana Canedy Joins Sam Ford for An Exclusive Interview on the True Story Behind A Journal for Jordan Based on Her Best-Selling Book

Dana Canedy, Simon & Schuster Senior Vice President and Publisher, joined Sam Ford, KTW partner and AccelerateKY Executive Director, for an exclusive interview in conjunction with our celebration of the Kentucky native last December to honor the film release of A Journal for Jordan based on her best-selling book.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist met with Sam virtually to discuss the powerful, true love story in her New York Times best-selling book, her journey writing the book, and the creation of the film adaptation alongside director and Academy-Award winning actor Denzel Washington.

Dana shared the importance of the film not only for herself and her son Jordan, but also her hopes on how the universal themes of family, honor, love, and patriotism showcased throughout the film will help unite people across the country during these challenging times.
